𝕎𝕆ℝ𝕃𝔻 ℝ𝔼𝔸𝔻 𝔸𝕃𝕆𝕌𝔻 𝔻𝔸Y (3rd February) For 12 years, World Read Aloud Day has called attention to the importance of sharing stories by challenging participants to grab a book, find an audience, and read-aloud! The global effort is now celebrated in over 173 countries and counting. World Read Aloud Day, created by the nonprofit organization LitWorld is all about bringing people together through stories and that will be more important than ever this year when the shared experience and connection of reading aloud is so needed in all of our communities. That is precisely what our 2nd and 4th ESO students have done by reading aloud and collaborativelly two great classics of American literature The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and The Great Gatsby both by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Durante 12 años, el día Mundial de la lectura en alto ha resaltado la importancia de compartir historias retando a los participantes a escoger un libro, buscar a los oyentes adecuados y leer en alto! Este esfuerzo global se celebra actualmente en alrededor de 173 países y sigue aumentando.
El día de la lectura en alto fue creado por la organización sin ánimo de lucro LitWorld y consiste en unir a personas a través de historias, algo que este año cobra significado y tiene más importancia que nunca debido a la necesidad de todas las comunidades de compartir experiencias y sentirse conectados.
Esto es exactamente lo que han conseguido nuestros alumnos de 2º y 4º de ESO del IESO Alconétar a través de la lectura compartida y en alto de dos clásicos de la literatura americana.
